Jeff Russell's Starship Dimensions page
A fantastically geeky page showing the relative dimensions of various Science-Fictional space vessels. If, like me, you have ever wondered how an Imperial Star Destroyer measures up against a Romulan Warbird (and let's face it - who hasn't?) then this is the page for you. |

DubyaSpeak
A frequently updated list of the myriad of verbal gaffes committed by the most powerful man in the world which is simultaneously both hilarious and very, very scary. |
| CarbonSiliconInc.Com
The website for Carbon/Silicon, the new band composed of Mick Jones (ex - The Clash / Big Audio Dynamite) and Tony James (ex Generation X, Sigue Sigue Sputnik, Sisters of Mercy etc. etc.). Some of their stuff is excellent (if you can find a track called "The News" it's well worth the listen). Incidentally, I find it incredible that there isn't a decent Big Audio Dynamite page out there; I'm sure that there used to be...? |

PWEINation An excellent fan page for Stourbridge's finest band, Pop Will Eat Itself. A band with a unique sound, a mad mixture of Punk, Thrash, Hip Hop and Mongolian Throat singing (OK, that last one's a fib). I first saw them play on the 5th of November 1987 in the Liverpool University Mountford Hall and last saw them playing live in what would later become "Cream" in Liverpool in early 1994, just before they disbanded. Two of the band went on to form "Bentley Rhythm Ace" whilst Clint Mansell, the lead-ish singer, moved to New York to become a composer for movie soundtracks, including "Pi" and "Requiem for a Dream", snippets of which appeared in trailers for "The Two Towers" and "Return of The King". (How cool is that?) The good news is that they have recently (late 2004) reformed with their original line-up to play some live shows. Hopefully a new CD might be on the horizon, but what will they sound like after 10 years apart? |

Frank Sidebottom.co.uk A fan page devoted to Frank Sidebottom, the erstwhile big-shorted, big-headed bard of Timperley. Funnily enough, he's also recently announced that he's stepping back into the public eye again as well, with some live shows and even a spot on "Dick and Dom In Da Bungalow" It's like the 1990s never happened! (Musically, at least, this is a GOOD thing) |

Iggy Pop .com One of the most influential artists in the history of Rock - he has inspired musicians from David Bowie all the way to The Sex Pistols and Nirvana. And the special effects team who designed the CGI Gollum for Peter Jackson's Lord of the Rings modelled Gollum's body on Iggy's - True! |
