Tim McNulty
Hello, welcome to my homepage.

I'm not an international terrorist, glamour model or footballer so I imagine that most of the stuff here will be deadly dull and hopelessly mundane to the vast majority of people who have inadvertently stumbled across this page, but I really can't help that, I'm afraid. (If it's not exciting enough for you, get in touch with me and I'll make up a story about how I wrestled a giant squid in Pago Pago)

Biography

Here is a potted biography - I was born in 1965 (which means that I am currently years old) in Liverpool, England, educated at a Catholic Boys' Grammar school and two different Universities (OK, they were Polytechnics when I attended...) and ended up with a fairly decent education.

I've been working in Information Technology for years, with a number of different companies, large and small. I've worked in a number of different positions, ranging from Programmer right up to Computer Operations Manager, but mostly they have been related to PICK databases (in the form of Reality X, JBase or Advanced Revelation- ARev). If you are looking for a programmer who is expert in PICK, Reality X, JBase, UNIVERSE, ARev or OpenInsight, , as I'm always open to new opportunities. In addition I'm well acquainted with Visual Basic, ASP, Javascript and all sorts of lovely modern stuff as well. If you are interested, here is my CV

I've been married, to Lynn for years, and have two children, Erin who is and James who is .

Although I am originally from Liverpool, since September 2001, I have been living in a village called Ballaugh in the Isle of Man
(in case you don't know, that is a smallish island in the Irish Sea, halfway between England and Ireland; an independent country and the world's oldest continuous democracy).

Other stuff...
Now, if you have managed to read this far without falling asleep, well done! and, by way of a reward, here is a nice little page I knocked up which shows you the kind of useful stuff that you can do with Javascript - in this case you can generate a personal prediction in the style of Nostradamus

And here's another one which will generate a mission statement for your business

Apart from the stuff I do in work, I have built and maintain a number of websites for myself and other people, a selection of which follow...
The Manx Fencing Association The Manx Fencing Association ... Of which I am a member. That is the fencing which involves swords and a mask, not wood and a bucket of creosote, just in case you were wondering.
Jimcalagon's Lord of the Rings Movie News Jimcalagon's Lord of the Rings Movie News. The title pretty much says it all; the most up to date and entertaining Lord of the Rings news site on the internet. And some of it is actually true...
The Homepage of THE DWARF! "The Dwarf"'s home page. The leading savant of Kyrgyzstan and an avid (if somewhat misguided) Manchester United fan in addition to being a world-renowned expert on Tolkien and computers. Oh and goats.
Barrycuda "Barrycuda". Barry Shailes, or "Baz" to his friends, is an artist (in addition to his other skills) and has been a friend of mine since I was five (i.e. a LONG time). I built this simple page to allow him to display his artwork and other stuff on the internet.
After having read all that, if you want to send me an email about anything then .
(No begging letters please; no invitations to help Nigerian "businessmen" get money out of the country; if there's one thing I don't need, it's viagra - and remember ladies, I'm married!)

The McNulty family crest; two animals fighting over a glove. Answers on a postcard please...
